Marshall William Turkin
| After retiring to Florida in 1988, he commuted to Honolulu for three years working as the General Director of the Hawaii Opera Theatre, served as the Interim Executive Director of both the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Florida Philharmonic, and has been a consultant to other arts organizations in Florida, Massachusetts, Wyoming and in Russia. He has taught music theory at Florida Atlantic University and served as music reviewer for the Palm Beach Daily News. |

In recent years he returned to an earlier music interest and is now once again active as a jazz musician performing “Multimedia Concerts” and “Jazz and Dance Club” performances with his Classic Jazz Ensemble. He also produces and hosts the classical chamber music “Mostly Music” series featuring Boca Symphonia musicians. Marshall Turkin is the Founder and Artistic Director of the new Boca Raton Symphonia which performed its inaugural full season of concerts beginning in the Fall of 2005.
