Paul Green

Classical, jazz and Klezmer artist Paul Green has dazzled audiences worldwide with his virtuosity and versatility. He appeared at a young age with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic on a televised Young People’s Concert. He was also presented in a  solo debut recital at Carnegie Recital Hall as winner of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. After moving to Florida in 1992, he founded the Gold Coast Chamber Music Festival, and has also performed at the Tanglewood Music Festival,Colorado Music Festival, the Manchester Music Festival, the Yale School of Music Festival at Norfolk, the Festival at Sandpoint, the Austin Chamber Music Festival, the Rutgers and Hamptons Summerfest and the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in Blue Hill, Maine. In 1997 he served as Artistic Ambassador for the U.S. Information Agency and concertized in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Kuwait, Oman and Moldova.

More recently, he has participated in international festivals in Krakow, Brasov, Chisinau, Pusan, Vienna, Santo Domingo, and Xian, China. Presently, he is the Principal Clarinetist of the Symphony of the Americas,  the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and the Flagler Symphonic Society. He is  Clarinet and Chamber Music Faculty at the School of Music at Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, and Artist/Faculty Clarinet at the Conservatory of Music at Lynn University. A former attorney and faculty member of Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Green is a founding member of the Florida Woodwind Quintet and the Swingin’ Jazz and Klezmer Band, and is a member of the Nodus Ensemble, a contemporary music group in residence at Florida International University. In 2003 he was appointed to the 25th Anniversary Leadership Council of Chamber Music America.
