Susan Dirgins-Friend is a double bass player and librarian for the Boca Raton Symphonia.  A former member of the bass section of the Florida Philharmonic, Ms. Dirgins-Friend, in addition to her work with The Symphonia,  works free-lancing around South Florida.  Susan is also a music teacher at the Dillard School of the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale and at the Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton.        

Ms. Dirgins-Friend is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Music, obtaining both her Bachelor of Music Degree and her Master of Music Degree.
