THE BOCA RATON PHILHARMONIC SYMPHONIA HELD A LUNCHEON AT MAGGIANO’S Little Italy recently to honor their musicians and benefactors. During the luncheon, President Marty Coyne and Jeffrey Kaye, Orchestra Manager, recognized Madelyn Savarick and Edith and Martin B. Stein for their generous contributions and inspiration. Their patronage and encouragement has made it possible to dramatically expand the second season’s programming. During the luncheon, Kaye announced that the performances would increase from last season’s eleven, to seventeen for the 2006/2007 season.

Kaye also noted that last season, over five thousand attended the free "Night in Vienna" performance presented by Madelyn Savarick and Countess Henrietta de Hoernle, held at the Count de Hoernle Ampitheater at Mizner Park. The Symphonia’s schedule begins with the December 2nd performance of "Peter and the Wolf ” in partnership with the Boca Raton Ballet Theatre, narrated by Rick Shaw of WMXJ, 102.7 FM. This concert is followed by concerts highlighting Broadway and the Silver Screen, American Music Celebration, and International Classics.
